🌿 Startup in Social and Eco-Entrepreneurship

"Startup in Social and Eco-Entrepreneurship" is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project that brought together 54 young participants from Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, and Türkiye in Predeal, Romania.

The project aimed to empower young people—especially those with fewer opportunities—through entrepreneurial approaches that address real-world social and environmental challenges. By using non-formal education methods, participants explored how eco-conscious business ideas can create positive social impact while promoting sustainability.

During the exchange, young people aged 18–30 collaborated on identifying key environmental and social issues in their communities. Through workshops, brainstorming sessions, and group activities, they developed innovative social and eco-business plans with the potential to drive real change.

The project’s objectives included:

• Raising awareness of environmental and social entrepreneurship.

• Providing hands-on experience in eco-enterprise planning.

• Encouraging participants to take action in their communities or launch their own initiatives.

• Strengthening intercultural competence and cross-border collaboration.

• Promoting knowledge of the Erasmus+ Programme and Key Action 1.

• Enhancing teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.

The program featured engaging activities such as Intercultural Nights, Film Nights, YouthPass Ceremony, and thematic workshops—all designed to foster learning, sharing, and personal development.

Each country was represented by 9 participants, including a group leader. Notably, 24 participants came from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring that the project remained inclusive and impactful.
